Access to English schooling in the province of Quebec is governed by the provisions of Bill 115. Simply stated, English schools receiving grants from the government can only receive students who have English eligibility (for further information on English eligibility visit the MELS website).
LCC’s elementary school program does not receive government grants. Therefore, children participating in the Junior School program (i.e., grades K-6) do not require an eligibility certificate to attend the school. However, because LCC receives partial government funding for its high school program, students in the Middle and Senior School programs (i.e., grades 7-11) do require an eligibility certificate to attend our school.
Eligibility is not a requirement for students applying to the Pre-University program.
