Schedule
In a 10-day cycle, classes meet a minimum of six and a maximum of eight times; class periods are 65 minutes, with two subjects having a 90 minute block once a cycle.
Assessment and Reporting
To enter the Pre-University Year programme (grade 12) at LCC, a student must have completed Quebec grade 11 and acquired an MEQ high school leaving certificate; out-of-province students must have acquired equivalent high school leaving credits.
All Pre-U course marks are recorded as percentages and are cumulative throughout the year; four reports are issued over the academic year, in October, December, March and May. The course pass mark is 50%, though course grades of below 60% are designated as “not meeting course requirements” and are insufficient for university entry.
