The Journey Starts Here

Kindergarten at LCC is where a child’s learning truly begins. It provides a nurturing environment that feels like a second home, within a community of care that helps shape the educational experience they will build upon in the years ahead.

Kindergarten is the first chapter in a story that continues long after the year ends.

Why Kindergarten at LCC?

Academics & Student Life

Kindergarten at LCC introduces academic skills in ways that feel natural and engaging. Children build early literacy and numeracy foundations through play, exploration, and hands‑on learning. Our approach is developmentally appropriate, curiosity‑driven, and aligned with the broader Junior School program. Learn more about our kindergarten program curriculum.

Beyond the classroom, kindergarten students are part of the larger LCC community, joining their grade 5 buddies for house activities, visiting the library, participating in school‑wide traditions like Field Day and the Terry Fox Run, and sharing in special events and celebrations that build confidence and joy.

These experiences help children feel connected to the school and excited about the years ahead.
