Though we would rather greet you on campus, due to the global health crisis, in order to keep everyone safe and healthy, we have decided to bring the school to you.

The Kindergarten Application deadline for September 2021 admission is November 20, 2020.

Application Checklist

• A completed online application
• A photo of the applicant 
• A confidential report form (where schools comply)
• Current year and previous year-end report cards (optional)
• Readiness test
• Applicants born in Canada: an original birth certificate (brought to the Admissions Office for certification when the school re-opens to the general public) or three certified copies of the long form birth certificate. Both parents’ names must appear.
• Applicants born outside of Canada: an original birth certificate (brought to the Admissions Office for certification when the school re-opens to the general public) or three certified copies of the long form birth certificate. Both parents’ names must appear. Also include proof of student's or parent's Canadian citizenship. If the applicant or neither parent possesses Canadian citizenship, Canadian immigration documents must be provided.
• A meeting with a representative form the admissions office
• A non-refundable processing and evaluation fee of $50, payable by cheque or money order to Lower Canada College, or by wire transfer (from a financial institution outside Canada only).

We conduct an evaluation to establish the child's readiness for our program.

Kindergarten Readiness Testing for September 2021 takes place by appointment on November 21 and 27, and decisions will be released in early December. The admissions office will be in touch with all applicants. Further details regarding the format will be available in late October.

The best time to apply is in the fall (i.e., October/November).

Families applying after the first round of decisions may be applying for a space in the wait pool if enrolment is full.

We consider a number of criteria when evaluating a student’s file, including:

• Readiness assessment
• The confidential school report form
• Past report cards (if available)
