Facilities

LCC’s 7-acre campus features state-of-the-art athletic facilities, including:

Glenn J. Chamandy Arena

A standard-size ice surface with eco-chill cooling system, fluorescent lighting, and heating from solar panel installations. Bright and spacious lounges for views onto the ice, fields and Velan gymnasium.

Miller Rink

A refrigerated, outdoor, NHL-size ice surface installed on a portion of the Saputo Field from November to March. Games streamed live via LiveBarn. 

Saputo Field 

An artificial turf used for soccer matches, gym classes, recess and other activities. Soccer games streamed live via LiveBarn. 

Dave Wood Field

A natural grass field for football games and other activities, like gym classes and recess.

Velan Gyms

Two gyms used separately (each with its own viewing gallery) or as one large gym. Basketball and volleyball games streamed live via LiveBarn.

Team Rooms

Locker rooms available in the arena and Webster Learning Activities Centre

Memorial Gym

A historic venue built in tribute to LCC alumni who lost their lives during the Great War, designed and built with donations from Old Boys and officially opened in February 1922 by Governor General Baron Byng of Vimy. 

Junior School Gym

Used primarily by the Junior School and includes an elevated viewing area. 

Athletic Therapy Room

Athletic and massage therapy for students, parents and the general community, offered in a fully furnished athletic therapy room used for the evaluation and rehabilitation of different types of injuries.

Tsatas Fitness Centre

A fully-equipped fitness centre ideal for strength and cardiovascular training. Used individually or in groups, by students, faculty, staff and alumni,

Facilities Rentals

Parents, alumni and recognized community groups and organizations can rent certain facilities on a regular basis or for a single event. For a fee, the facilities are available during the evenings between 6:30 pm and 10 pm on weekdays, and from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The school’s facilities are available for rental during holiday periods including the summer.
