The Honourable Pierre Duchesne, Quebec's Lieutenant Governor, visited LCC on Saturday, November 19, to personally present the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award to this year's Quebec recipients.

This year, 43 LCC students earned the silver award. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award 'encourages youth to be active, to participate in new activities and pursue current interests in four different areas.'

It is also worth noting that in 2011, 38 students earned the coveted Gold Award—more than any other school in Canada!
