On behalf of Lower Canada College and Selwyn House School, we would like to welcome you all to the CAIS U-13 National Boys Basketball Tournament in Montreal, Quebec.
We are very excited to have the opportunity to host 18 teams from Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec, and hope that your experience in Montreal leaves you with memories to last a lifetime. We look forward to several days filled with new friendships, healthy competition and sportsmanship.

Rules
Realignment Divisions & Tie-breaker Criteria
Championship Division: 8 teams
- 5 first place teams and 3 wildcard second place teams
Consolation Divisions: 10 teams
- Remaining 10 teams
Tie-breaker Criteria
In the event of a tie in the standings at the conclusion of round robin competition, the team awarded the higher standing will be:
- The team that won the game between the tied teams
- If still tied, the team with the least points against in games involving the tied teams
- If still tied, point differential in head-to-head competition between tied teams (max. of 20 points differential)
- If still tied, the team with the least points against in games involving all teams in the division
- If still tied, the team with the most points for in games involving all teams in the division (max. 20 points differential)
- Coin flip
Wildcard Criteria to Determine Championship and Consolation Division Placement
- Most points in divisional play (2 points per win)
- Fewest points allowed in divisional play
- Best point differential in divisional play
- Best point differential vs. divisional winner
- Fewest points allowed vs. divisional winner
Teams will be placed in accordance with the above criteria in the first round of the realignment, but will not face a team from their round robin pool.
