Barbara Hutchison

Barbara Hutchison is a professional visual artist and educator with an MFA from Concordia University. She is principally an oil painter, with a broad base in fine art, fine art history, graphic design and video production.

Ms. Hutchison has received recognition for a variety of projects, including community-based initiatives, from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council and the National Film Board.

She has ten years of international teaching experience in the Middle East, and experience teaching courses and workshops at The Art Gallery of Ontario, The Power Plant, and the Oakville Galleries.
