This week, Dr. Paul Kavanagh '70 received the Non Nobis Solum Award at the annual Head of School Report to the LCC Corporation. Nominated by alumni peers, it acknowledges an outstanding contribution to society.
Dr. Kavanagh started the nonprofit Operation Veteran, which raises funds to sponsor free meals for Canadian veterans visiting the War Museum in Ottawa. Over the years, thousands of meals have been provided.
He also developed another initiative, Operation Remembrance. It includes 11 days of virtual themed activities from November 1-11.
