LCC Announces its 8th Head of School!

The LCC Board of Governors is pleased to share that after an in-depth selection process, our own Deputy Head, Mark Salkeld, will become LCC’s 8th Head of School, starting July 1, 2025.

Mr. Salkeld has 25 years of experience as an educator at schools abroad and in Quebec. Since 2002, he has assumed successive leadership roles at LCC, including as our deputy head for the last seven years, and has been involved in almost every facet of school operations.

“I am honoured and excited to become our next head of school,” says Mark. “LCC has been a significant part of my life for over 20 years. I care deeply about the community of students, faculty and staff, parents and alumni. I look forward to working with all members of our LCC family, broadening our reach as a school, and ensuring that our students are well prepared to be positive leaders in a sustainable society, so that they can shape a better world.”

Join us in congratulating Mr. Salkeld on this well-merited appointment. We know that his lion pride, extensive experience and commitment to progressive education will serve the students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni well as we embark on this new chapter in LCC history.
