Congratulations to LCC Science Teacher, Chris Olive, recipient of the 2024 Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence in STEM. These awards honour outstanding elementary and secondary school teachers in all disciplines for their innovative practices. Known for high-impact scientific demonstrations, Mr. Olive is motivated by more than just trying to make science captivating—he goes above and beyond to supplement classroom learning, such as by running the school's robotics club, taking groups of students on international field trips, and serving as an all-round mentor
