We are proud to share that Kemal '27 won the 2026 Canadian National Championships in the U17 71 kg weight class, held on April 24 in Grand Prairie, Alberta.
Kemal delivered an outstanding performance, winning all five of his matches and outscoring his opponents 41–0. Training at the National Training Centre and competing under the Quebec Wrestling Federation, he proudly represented LCC on the national stage.
Kemal now sets his sights on the World Team Trials in Montreal later this month. A strong result there would see him advance to the World Championships in his home country of Azerbaijan.
