We’d like to congratulate LCC’s Head Chef, Catherine Pascone, on winning the gold medal for her outstanding efforts during the annual WasteLESS Week waste reduction campaign!
Catherine and her team implemented numerous initiatives throughout Sodexo’s WasteLESS Week, with a strong focus on maximizing Leanpath. Additionally, she organized various engagement activities during the week, including a tray-free day, using compostable bowls and Cano reusable containers, featuring plant-based items daily on the hot menu and salad bar, highlighting local produce, and maintaining low lighting by turning off dining room lights when not in use and dimming them during service.
