LCC Student's Urban Collective Forest Comes to Life

LCC Student's Urban Collective Forest Comes to Life

The urban collective forest spearheaded by Evelyne ‘25 has officially come to life by the Lachine Canal!

Driven by her lifelong passion for nature and a dedication to environmental sustainability, Evelyne ‘25 launched a tree planting project in the heart of Montreal. This project attracted support from a public-private partnership between local environmental groups, Concordia University, and Parks Canada.

Last week, Evelyne ‘25 and other LCC students gathered together and planted over 50 trees in the area. On September 26 we celebrated the forest’s official inauguration! A heartfelt congratulations to Evelyne ‘25.
