Junior School

Student Council

In Junior School, students from grade 2 - 6 have the chance to be selected by their peers to participate on the Student Council, which addresses issues such as homework, uniforms and snacks among other student concerns. Students in grades 4, 5 and 6, can assume leadership roles in various areas and work together with faculty and classmates to accomplish both individual and team goals. Depending on their interests, grade 5 and 6 students can also get involved in a variety of student leadership committees, including athletics, community service, open house, peer mediation, environment, the arts, IT communications and ambassadors.

Junior School Pride

Junior School Pride is the leadership team that organizes Junior School events, such as house activities or Halloween celebrations. Students who are interested in being part of Junior School Pride submit their candidacy and are selected by teachers.

LCC's Junior School Pride is based on the IDEALS of Round Square: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service
