2024-2025 Achievements

THANK YOU to LCC parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends for supporting the annual giving program, and the Rock Your House Giving Challenge.

What you funded last academic year:

Enhanced life-saving training with 10 new CPR mannequins

This expansion boosts the grade 9 phys. ed. curriculum and strengthens our new cardio emergency team, creating a safer, more prepared community.

Advanced our robotics program with new sets for building and programming

Strengthening both curricular and co-curricular programs, these building sets are set to spark creativity and the technical skills in our students.

Provided protection from the elements with a new sports shelter

A state-of-the-art addition to our sports facilities that offers a dedicated, comfortable space for safer, more enjoyable games and practices.

Ensured LCC remains accessible and welcoming to all

Thanks to Annual Giving, one in five LCC students from grade 7 to Pre-U receives a bursary, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Honoured a beloved Head of School with a bursary providing perpetual student support

Through the incredible success of our 36-hour Rock Your House Challenge and the Toast to 20 event held in his honour, the Christopher Shannon, Pre-U ’76 Bursary will provide support to students, ensuring Chris Shannon's legacy continues to benefit future generations for years to come.

Transformed classrooms with active learning furniture

Movable desks and chairs boost student engagement and collaboration, allowing teachers to quickly reconfigure rooms to enhance a wide range of academic activities.

Developed the LCC TV studio with dedicated camera setups and better green screen access

This upgrade provides a flexible environment for students to take part in broadcast journalism and podcasting, and use their communication skills.

Supported our community’s well-being with a renewed Online Wellness Curriculum

Designed by the Social Institute, this program promotes emotional, mental, and physical health for students, parents, and teachers.

Enhanced outdoor play spaces and athletic opportunities for the Junior School

This investment includes a new set of helmets, enabling students to enjoy lunchtime broomball outdoors throughout the winter.
