Planned Giving

The Fosbery Legacy Society: A Planned Giving Program for the Future You Believe In

In 1920, Founding Head of School, Dr. C.S. Fosbery left Lower Canada College to its alumni, effectively starting LCC’s legacy giving program. You can follow in his footsteps.

Planned giving provides a powerful way to advance LCC's mission to support the fullest development of students in mind, body, and heart. Planned gifts are charitable commitments you make as a donor as part of your estate plans.

By including LCC in your estate plans—through one of many giving options—you help ensure that future generations of students continue to benefit from an exceptional experience. It is an opportunity to honour your connection to your alma mater, be part of fostering the development of young learners and leaders, and reinforce your commitment to Non Nobis Solum.

The Fosbery Legacy Society Advantage

In Dr. Fosbery’s honour, and as a supporter who has made a planned gift to LCC, you are part of the Fosbery Society and continue his legacy. Members will:

  • be acknowledged in our publications (with their consent)
  • receive the opportunity to attend an exclusive members-only recognition event
  • be thanked with a special token of appreciation

Dr. C.S. Fosbery, LCC’s founder, was the first person to make a planned gift, leaving his interest in the school to alumni. Supporting the Fosbery Campaign honours the trust he placed in them and the decision that fortified the bond between alumni and the school.
