Volunteers are vital to the success of our school.

Your involvement helps us better serve our students, alumni, parents and the school as a whole. There is a real sense of community among our volunteers. It is a great way to connect with parents, students, teachers, and staff, and share in a common purpose—supporting LCC.

The Parents’ Association, LCC’s volunteer-run organization, acts as a liaison between parents and the administration, and encourages volunteer participation in many areas of the school, including nutrition, environment, safety and security, event organization and fundraising.

Here is a sampling of where you might want to lend a hand:

Staff Appreciation

An annual parent-led event to show gratitude to faculty and staff for all that they do in support of LCC students

LCC Store

Lending a hand in the Store provides a great opportunity to meet other parents and students. All proceeds from sales go to the LCC Bursary Fund.

Grandparents' Day

A special day of activities for Junior School grandparents organized by LCC parents and the school


A biennial event organized by parents in support of the LCC Bursary Fund

Family BBQ

Our parent volunteers plan this community-wide kick-off to the school year, providing parents, students, faculty and staff with the opportunity to connect

Career Day

An opportunity for alumni, parents and friends of LCC to share professional journeys and words of wisdom with senior students at the annual Career Day event

Book Fair

Volunteers support this annual two-day fundraiser for the library

Art Projects

Parents help out in the classroom with select student art projects

Junior School Class Parent

Parents serve as representatives for a Junior School class and share information with other parents

Special Committees

Parents provide input and offer professional expertise on a variety of committees that support of our "Students First" philosophy

Theatrical Production

A great opportunity to help out with special projects and support school drama productions

Nutrition Committee

The committee addresses parents comments or suggestions regarding the food service program at LCC


Lend a hand to support the LCC library staff

New Parent Mentoring

Our parents act as a point of contact to help new families integrate into the LCC community
